Congress MlA, Aradhana Mishra demanded special package from the Centre just on line of Bihar.
Citing the series of natural calamity like unseasonal rains, drought like situation in the State etc, Mishra said that the farmers suffered heavy losses particularly in the last one year. She said that to facilitate them from coming out this trauma, Central government should forward a helping hand to them as well as to state government to meet out other requirement like controlling inflation in such situations.
Mishra stressed that the Central Government without any delay must sanctioned special package of Rs lakh crore to the State government. She also claimed that this package should be given in totality and not like in Bihar where the help would be forwarded in parts.
