Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati on Thursday warned the cadre to be cautious of the black sheep within the outfit as they were damaging it before parting ways to look for greener pastures.

“There are some elements within the party who were trying to do damage and demoralise our cadre. But I want to caution you from such forces. Brace yourself to take the party to new heights by fulfilling the dreams of Dr Ambedkar and Kashiramji,” asserted Mayawati. She instructed party officials and workers to work on the grassroot level to strengthen the party.

Mayawati was addressing party workers and leaders at a meeting held at the BSP headquarters inlucknow. She also reviewed the preparedness of the party for the upcoming elections. In a press release issued on Thursday, Mayawati said that the party should reach out to the common man and make them understand the casteist and communal policies of BJP and its allies. She said that Dalits and backwards were the most ignored in this government.

Speaking on the minority community, Mayawati said that there was fear and insecurity among Muslims and the BJP was spreading fear.

The BSP chief said that the BSP was the only party following Ambedkar’s ideology and hence they should gear up and work hard to ensure justice to the poorest of the poor. She said that only through their dedication could the BSP accomplice the motto of ‘BSP Ka sapna, sarkar ho apna’.

Mayawati claimed that the party had been witness to several ups and downs in the past and the morale of the workers should not sink due to some electoral defeats instead they should learn ffrom them and ressurect from the ashes.

Mayawati also attacked the BJP for changing names of railway stations, roads and other installations in the state. ``Change of names of installations just points towards the narrow thinking of BJP leaders,” she quipped while flaying the move of renaming Mugalsarai railway station.
