Mayawati names Akhilesh 'Babua Broadcasting Corporation'

Terming Akhilesh Yadav as Babua Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati took on the CM over dipping law and order situation and dared him to crack down on criminals roaming freely patronized by the Samajwadi Party government.

Taking a dig at Akhilesh over his claims on cutting down response time of police, Mayawati termed the manhandling of staff of a private university at Allahabad by don-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed as a slap on the government’s face.

In less than a week after being declared SP candidate from Kanpur Cantonment, Atiq Ahmad and his armed aides reportedly stormed the campus of Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences (SHIATS) on the fringes of Allahabad and assaulted the staff on Wednesday.  Ahmed has, however, denied the allegations.

“The CM makes tall claims about imporving law and order and development, but the nation knows that ever since this regime came to power, 22 crore people of the state have been living under fear of criminals,” she said in a statement issued on Thursday.

Referring to Akhilesh, Mayawati said BBC (babua broadcasting corporation) has again said the oft-repeated things in Bundelkhand on Thursdayand once again warned Muslims not to fall prey to SP designs and indirectly help the BJP.

“BBC is just making false claims of development and that is taking credit for work which were taken up by the previous BSP regime,” she asserted while flaying Akhilesh for inaugurating incomplete projects.
