Mayawati criticizes State Govt

BSP chief Mayawati termed the state government's `Sankalp Patra' to highlight its achievements during the last six months as an effort to conceal its abject failure. She further stressed that accuse the previous regimes for underdevelopment and corruption in the `White Paper’ was indicative of the confined mindset of Yogi Adityanath.

``Yogi has failed on all fronts in providing a clean government or even making any impact on law and order front. Hence, he come out with a Sankalp Patra to highlight achievements and divert public attention,” alleged Mayawati.

In a statement released in lucknow on Wednesday, Mayawati said, "Yogi was merely concentrating on diverting public attention by blaming the previous regimes for his government’s non-performance. The CM must come forward and tell the public about how much time he would take to own responsibility and stop accusing others for his failure."

The former UP Chief Minister claimed, "Akin to the failure of the BJP government at Centre, the Yogi- led state government had also failed on all fronts. The BJP has been busy patting its back by claiming development work done by previous governments." She also said that the BJP had betrayed farmers, traders and poor by promising them sops, waiver of loans, profit on agriculture produce, jobs to youths etc.
