Bahujan Samaj Party chief Mayawati convened an all important meeting of national executives in lucknow here on Saturday to discuss strategy for 2019, lok Sabha polls.
At the meeting, there is also a possibility of Mayawati being projected as Prime Ministerial candidate. The BSP ,which is yet to announce its support to RlD and SP candidates for Kairana lok Sabha and the Noorpur Assembly bypolls scheduled on May 28, will also declare its support to opposition candidates.
BSP sources said on Friday that all senior leaders from across the state along with zonal co-ordinators, Rajya Sabha members and UP legislators would be participating in the meeting.
Recently, the BSP won one Assembly seat in Karnataka by contesting the poll in alliance with JD(S), which has come to power. Besides in Haryana, the party announced to go with Indian National lok Dal (INlD) in the coming lok Sabha polls.
For the imminent Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections also, the BSP announced to field candidates in all the seats.
