Maya blames cent govt for biased anti farmer policies

Hitting two birds with one stone, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief, Mayawati blamed the Central Government for it’s anti-farmer policies and state government for their biased decision against the members of poorer section, dalits, Muslims and members of other minority communities. She claimed that instead of Achchey Din (good days), the people had to face trouble from both the corners just due to the wrong policies of both Central and the state government.

“BJP came to the power with promise to bring in Good Days but is now leaving nothing which could cause worry for a common man. On the other hand, the people of the State also had to face discriminatory and casteist politics of SP government besides lawlessness which is nothing but a double from both sides,” asserted Mayawati, here on Thursday morning. She made a direct attack both on the Central as well as State governments while addressing her party leaders and office bearers at Party’s head quarter in Mall Avenue on Thursday.

RsRsThere is a sense of hopelessness among the people because of the wrong policies of these governments. Their works are not in peoples’ interests but are casteist and communal, aimed at benefiting a handful of people,” she alleged. The BSP leader labelled both the governments “non-serious” towards issues like inflation, poverty, unemployment and social justice. She said that cases of corruption in UP and BJP-ruled states like Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh are coming to the fore in a big way. She alleged that by land Acquisition Bill, the Modi government was working for an arrangement by which land of farmers would be forcibly snatched.

She further claimed that the BJP is even more cruel than the Britishers in terms of harassment and exploitation of the farmers and revised land Acquisition is a glaring example of it. RsRsAfter the new Bill, the farmers would find it hard to have two time bread as their land will be snatched and they will also get no job which could fetch them money to feed their families”, added Mayawati, while criticizing the Central Government. She alleged that just to facilitate some big business and corporate houses,  Narendra Modi is introducing anti-farmer and anti-poor policies in the country. The leader also noted that indirect taxes have added to the woes of common people. In the meeting it was alleged that the UP government is merely concerned about the development of Etawah and Kannauj area and whatever work is being done is guided by casteism.
