Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati alleged that the BJP was protecting the tainted and the corrupt leaders and thus was involved in ‘pseudo nationalism’.
“The BJP government has failed to give a clean government and now it was just protecting the interest of the tainted and the corrupt leaders who have lend their support to a runway criminal,”she said. Mayawati who was reviewing the party’s activities in Punjab, Chandigarh and Jammu and Kashmir said that the BJP has failed to deliver and was now involved in all types of controversies.
Hitting out at the BJP for adopting the same delay tactics like the previous UPA government on the one-rank, one pension formula demanded by the armed forces, she said that the present Narendra Modi government has failed to solve the issue even after making it a poll agenda in 2014 elections.
The BSP leader called on the Party leaders and workers in these states to strengthen the base by involving the youths and others and claimed that there is a huge potential for the Party in these states.
