In a massive reshuffle, the state Government on Thursday transferred 36 IAS officers, including four divisional commissioners and six district magistrates.
According to a government spokesman, Secretary (IT and Electronics) Prabhat Mittal, who was under transfer as Commissioner of Devipatan division, has now been posted as Commissioner of Rural Development while Secretary (Minor Irrigation) Ravi Prakash Arora has been transferred as Commissioner of Devipatan.
Bhupendra Singh, who was on the waiting list, has been posted as Commissioner of Meerut division.
Commissioner of Mirzapur Division, Brij Kishore Singh, has been put on the waiting list and Commissioner of Varanasi, RM Srivastava, has been given additional charge of Mirzapur division.
District Magistrate of Sultanpur, K Dhanlaxmi, has been put on the waiting list and Special Secretary Aditi Singh has been posted in her place.
