Panic gripped in Badaun after two female members were found lying dead along with their father on Monday morning. local police which rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to hospital where all the three were formally pronounced dead upon arrival did not ruled out that the victims could be sexually assaulted before being murdered. A case was registered in this regard and further investigations are on.
According to reports, one Bhure,a native of Mohalla Fakiri Sahai under the Kotwali area in Badaun lodged a report with the local police in which he stated that his cousin Ayesha (16) and her sister Saira aka Gullu (24) and their
father Shakeel (45), living in near-by localities were found lying in pool of blood by their neighbours on Monday morning. He claimed that all the three were brutally attacked with sharp edged weapons and circumstantial evidences also pointed towards sexual assault. He claimed that hoping that the victims could be alive, the neighbours shifted them to hospital with the help of local police but all were already dead.
The bodies were sent for post-mortem examination and Superintendent of Police(SP) in Badaun, Dalbir Singh Yadav claimed that they were probing on all the angles which also included some personal dispute of the victims. He claimed that while Ayesha was unmarried, Saira was married and also had a a one-and-a-half year old daughter. Meanwhile five persons were also killed after being stuck by lightning in Marsa village in Sursa area on Hardoi on Sunday. According to reports lightened struck in the village on Sunday evening in which Sarfu (45), Azam (12), Yogesh (13) and two unidentified persons, which included a girl were killed. local police registered a case in this regard and sent the bodies for postmortem.
