Bahujan Samaj Party president Mayawati on Tuesday urged all the countrymen to join the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan and express their happiness on the Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi (independence).

Former chief minister of UP, Mayawati, appealed to all the countrymen by tweeting on Tuesday that on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi, all the countrymen should express happiness.

“The tricolour flag should definitely be hoisted in your homes,” she appealed.

Mayawati tweeted that the Indian tricolour reminds everyone of the pride and glory of the country. “Every working Indian may not be able to perform it due to the imperative of his livelihood, but he always respects the national flag from the heart. Now the whole country is celebrating 75 years of independence from the slavery of the British, so on this special occasion, all the countrymen should display their happiness by hoisting the tricolour in their homes. This is the appeal of BSP,” she said.

On August 15 this year, 75 years of independence of the country will be completed. In honour of this, the Independence Day will be celebrated across the country. Along with the Narendra Modi government at the Centre, the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh is also continuously appealing to the people to celebrate the Amrit Mahotsav of freedom. Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan is being run. Tricolour is being sent to all the houses. People will hoist the tricolour on the roof of their houses and feel proud.
