Jilted lover killed the girl and later committed suicide in Gautambudhnagar (Noida), while over half a dozen other killings were also reported during the last 24-hours. In Gautambudhnagar (Noida), a man allegedly shot dead his lover and then killed himself in Sector P3 area on Saturday. Reports said that Sachin and Priya, both in their twenties, got married separately against their wishes and since then they were in depression. Sachin, a resident of village Bhangel, called his lover Priya at Omega Sector here for meeting on Saturday morning and he shot her dead and then killed himself too.
Meanwhile tension prevailed in Etah, after two people were killed in a petty dispute over Rs 200 in Raja ka Rampur area on Saturday. Reports said the incident occurred at Gami luhari village where a clash took place over some petty dispute. First Mustaquim Ali was shot dead by the rival group, and then his supporters murdered Majir Ali. In Pratapgarh, 40-year-old Santosh, a native of Saraikhan area of Maheshganj, was brutally stabbed to death by Kamlesh and others over an old dispute on Saturday morning.
In a separate incident in Moradabad, one Dinesh, running a furniture show-room in Ganj Bazar locality of Kotwali area, was shot dead by unidentified miscreants on Saturday. In Ghaziabad, 26-year-old Harendra Kasna, a resident of Sewanagar in Sihanigate, was shot dead by Sonu Tyagi, over money related dispute late on Fridaynight. In Mainpuri, 18-year-old Anil Yadav, who was son of Smt Mithlesh, sitting pradhan of Jelahi in Bewar, was shot dead by Mahendra Singh Yadav, over political rivalry late on Friday night. The killing also resulted into massive protest by the supporters of Mithlesh.
