The Yogi Adityanath government is leaving no stone unturned to complete its projects before the announcement of the 2022 UP Assembly elections.
In a fresh case, a letter has been sent to Lucknow municipal commissioner from the chief minister’s office to release the payment of under-construction flats at Para area being built by Lucknow Nagar Nigam under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The Rs 11 crore project has been lying unattended for more than a year now.
A total of 264 homes are to be constructed by Lucknow Nagar Nigam and half of the work was completed before it was stalled due to non-payment. The construction company, Satya Constructions, approached the CM’s office and a letter on Tuesday was dispatched to Lucknow municipal commissioner to release the funds to the construction company for completion of the project.
