Yet another property of former minister Babu Singh Kushwaha has been seized in Aligarh by the sleuths of the Enforcement Directorate, on Tuesday. Sources said that a team of ED probing the assets earned by Kushwaha, through dubious means found that the prime accused in National Rural Health Mission, who siphoned off  several hundred crores of rupees had diverted the money through money laundering in one KK Jain Educational Trust, owned by one KK Jain in Aligarh.
It also came to the notice that the said trust is running DPS branch in Aligarh. After the above development, the ED team rushed  to Aligarh and sources confirmed that they
seized the properties. However, the school building has been reportedly kept untouched as the ED team is trying to ensure that students won’t be harmed by their action. ED
which so far confiscated several properties of Kushwaha all valuing in several hundred crores of rupees, is also looking into accounts of the former minister as it came to
knowledge that Kushwaha had diverted over 600 crores and invested in properties over seas. ED which served notices to over a dozen of accomplices of Kushwaha to grill and extract from them about foreign investment of Kushwaha, had reportedly got some clinching clues but they refused to divulge it before the media persons.
Earlier on last Saturday also, sleuths of the ED, seized three more major properties of Kushwaha’s close lieutenant, RP Jaiswal, a former MlA from Barhaj in Deoria. The properties were seized in Deoria and ED is now looking for all the three sons of the accused former MlA who were said to be `absconding’. Interestingly, the ED probe also pointed involvement of two more MlAs, who were said to be actively involved in money laundering along with Babu Singh Kushwaha. A separate team of ED also reached lucknow to help their local counterparts in the investigation.
Sources in the ED confirmed that they went to Deoria and seized three properties of former MlA RP Jaiswal, who was involved in multi-crore rupees scam in National Rural
Health Mission along with Babu Singh Kushwaha. The properties seized are - Shyam Ganga Builders Pvt Builders, Renuka In and Hotels, and Renuka Complex. ED
officials confirmed that to cross-examine some facts, they served several notices to all the three former MlA’s sons namely Shyam Jaiswal, Preetam Jaiswal and Manohar
Jaiswal. However, all the three never turned up after which the ED declared them as `absconder’ and launched a massive hunt for them.
Sources said that all the three sons of Jaiswal, were actively involved in laundering along with Babu Singh Kushwaha and went under-ground soon after Kushwaha was arrested by the sleuths of the Central Bureau of Investigation. Sources in the ED further confirmed that besides the above three sons, they were also looking for two more close associates of Babu Singh Kushwaha, identified as Ganga Prasad Kushwaha and Nathu Kushwaha. Both Ganga and Nathu, too were hand-in-gloves in laundering the black money of Kushwaha and probe pointed that duo also enjoyed the post of directors in a many companies owned by Babu Singh Kushwaha. The house in Vivek Khand in Gomati Nagar, which was seized by the ED officials on Friday, also said to be owned by Ganga Prasad Kushwaha.
Further investigations are on in this regard by the ED who claimed that soon they would initiate similar action against some more bigwigs in the State, who were actively involved in scam as well as money laundering with Kushwaha and maintained distance once he was arrested two years back.
