Around 3,500 kids were registered in the Tricity heat and the Speedstar team found top 8 runners. The winners amongst Girls were Samriddhi Punj with 10.02 seconds (Under 10), Upneet Kaur with 15.46 seconds (Under 12), Srada Anil with 15.00 seconds (Under 14) and Kushwinder Kaur with 13.08 seconds (Under 16).
Amongst the Boys (Under 10): Swayam Aggarwal with 9.79 seconds, (Under 12): Satveer Singh with 14.04 seconds, (Under 14): Japneet Singh with 12.78 seconds and (Under 16) Parminder Singh with 12.24 seconds were chosen. Air Marshal Denzil Keelor, Chairman, Special Olympics Bharat said: “We are very excited to be a part of Speedstar. Our association with Kooh Sports is forged to support each other for unified development of sports at the grassroot levels. Our movement uses sports as a catalyst to transform the lives of children with intellectual disability.”
