In what may swell further the existing controversy over abduction of a 14 year old girl in Shikohabad , the girl was rescued from the house Hariom Yadav, a Samajwadi Party (SP) MlA, from Sirsaganj assembly constituency.The girl was kidnapped from Sikandra area of the Taj City on November 13 last and a youth was named in the case of abducting her.
The police had lodged the case against one Ankur Yadav accused of the crime on the basis of complaint filed by the girl's parents. They later charged the SP MlA for giving shelter to the kidnapper(s) and apprehended a sexual assault with the girl. The police initially turned down the plea made by the girl’s family but when the issued gained a hype, the police started to work on the case. To the surprise of the cops, the girl was rescued from the residence of SP MlA on Thursdayevening.
Meanwhile, the MlA has rebuffed the allegations and termed it a conspiracy of his rivals against him. The girl has been sent for medical examination.
