Demanding dismissal of Samajwadi party Government the BJP legislature Party has submitted a memorandum to Governor Ram Naik saying that lives of common people were on peril as anarchy prevailed in Uttar Pradesh. “The BJP had raised people’s issues in the state legislature. But the government has ignored them and has continued with its agenda,” BJP legislature party leader in state assembly Suresh Khanna said in the memorandum.
The said memorandum was signed by all law makers of the BJP including leaders of legislature party in Vidhan Parishad Hridaya Narain Dixit. The BJP said that law and order situation in the state is very bad. The incidents of crime have gone up. The ruling party leaders even beat up policemen. Senior do not dare to take action against these ruling party workers because of patronage they enjoy from senior ministers. “The recent Panchayat elections are clear indicator of how ruling party has mis-used official machinery. The polls were rigged and opposition party leaders were persecuted because they lodged complaint against officials,” Khanna said. The BJP leader also took a jibe at the Samajwadi Party Government for celebrating this year as Kisan Varsh. The cane dues run over Rs 2800 crore. The farmers who lost their crop because of drought of rains are yet to get compensation, he said.
He also said that power scenario was bad. “Government has failed to provide quality electricity but has increased tariff on regular basis,” Khanna said adding that Akhilesh Yadav Government has no blue print to improve power generation. “In this scenario it is prudent that corrupt Akhilesh Yadav Government should be sacked with immediate effect,” the BJP legislature party said.
