In an apparent sarcasm on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the wake of NDA losing the Bihar elections, the UP minister Azam Khan has urged the prime minister to learn from the path shown by ancient Indian sages Valmiki and Dadhichi Maharaj and initiate a new era in his life.

“Prime minister should draw a lesson from the Bihar state assembly elections results and shun the politics of hatred based on caste and religion. He should learn from the path shown by ancient Indian sages Valmiki and Dadhichi Maharaj and initiate a new era in his life’’, said Azam Khan in a statement issued here on Tuesday.

Reminding the prime minister his slogan “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’’ given during the 2014 parliament elections, Azam Khan said, “He should instill a sense of confidence in the hearts of those people who are scared of him and show his true credentials as prime minister who desires “Sabka Saath Sab Ka Vikas’’. Narendra Modi should now shun the politics of caste and religious hatred and bury the hatchet’’.

“Mr prime minister come out of the quagmire of politics of caste and religion and lead the great nation as its top leader’’, said Azam Khan. He said on the happy occasion of Diwali, the message should go across the nation what happened in Bihar will never be repeated in constitutional democracy nation of India.

The senior Samajwadi party leader made a poignant appeal to the prime ministerNarendra Modi to draw a lesion from the verdict of the Bihar assembly elections. He said the prime minister should take the Bihar assembly election as an experience and should develop himself as a sensitive person.

Apparently sermonizing the prime minister, the senior Samajwadi party leader said ``even the creator of this universe has not approved the paddling of the hatred against its creations’’. He said the Bihar election results have proved that even the Mother Nature is not happy with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Samajwadi Party leader predicted that the outcome of the Bihar state assembly elections resulting in land slide victory of the secular grand alliance has decided the political destiny of the country. In a statement issued here on Tuesday the minority affairs minister said the people of the Bihar with the resounding verdict rejecting the communal and divisive forces have also laid down the standards of the factors determining the harmony, humanity and camaraderie.  He said the people of Bihar by giving a categorical verdict have conveyed the true meaning of non violence to the nation. He said the nation heaved a sigh of relief after the Bihar elections results and the prevailing social harmony is an ample proof that 125 crore people of India want a peaceful and prosperous nation.

Meanwhile, tension prevails in Kalkatta mohalla of Rampur   following the demolition of the revered shrine of muslims. Rampur is the home town and assembly constituency of Azam Khan.  The mazaar was bulldozed by the Rampur municipal board under the police protection. The Mutwalli (caretaker) of the Mazaar Abid Hussain alleged that the shrine has been demolished by the municipal body on the orders of the minister Azam Khan. He said the shrine was over 100 years old and hundreds of people regularly visited the shrine to offer prayers and floral tributes.

This is the second incident of demolition of a `Mazaar’ in last two years in the tenure of Azam Khan as urban development minister.   A year ago under ganj police station a shrine of muslims on road leading to Jauhar University was demolished at the instance of Azam Khan. The Mazaar was demolished to pave the way for the widening of the road to the Jauhar University, a private university promoted by Azam Khan. The minister is also the lifelong chancellor of the University.
