Aam Admi Party convenor Arvind Kejriwal made a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Congress while addressing the party’s rally at Ramlila Grounds here on Sunday.

Kejriwal claimed that both the parties were being funded by business tycoon Mukesh Ambani. He alleged that as per the information received by him, Ambani was spending Rs 50 crore on each rally of BJP.

He said AAP was sure of registering victory in over a 100 lok Sabha seats and no government would be formed at the Centre without its support."AAP is going to get at least 100 seats in the lok Sabha elections. Moreover, we are going to get more seats than Congress. At least the government at the Centre will not be formed without AAP's support. AAP will help in forming the Central government and we will change the face of the country," he said.

Meanwhile, AAP leaders indicated that Arvind Kejriwal could contest against Narendra Modi if the latter decides to contest lok Sabha election from Varanasi.Addressing the rally before Kejriwal, party leader Sanjay Singh appealed to him to contest against Modi from Varanasi because there was a buzz that the BJP's prime ministerial candidate would be fielded from that constituency.

Another senior leader, Manish Sisodia, in his speech said: "We want the people of Varanasi to answer all the issues that Kejriwal has raised on (Mukesh) Ambani. Kejriwal will ask Modi these questions from Varanasi." He said Congress MP from Kanpur, Sriprakash Jaiswal, was involved in coal scam and the people should not repeat their mistake of the previous election in the coming lok Sabha poll.

Kejriwal said he saw no BJP wave during his two-day visit to 17 Assembly segments of Uttar Pradesh. "It is all a creation of the media and holds no water. In fact, the wave I found during my tour was of resentment among the people who want to see a change," he said and added that both UPA Government at the Centre and the BJP had surrendered before Mukesh Ambani.

Kejriwal alleged that Modi was using helicopters and aircraft of Mukesh Ambani to address BJP rallies being organised at different places all over the country. The AAP leader said that when he was the Chief Minister of Delhi, he had lodged FIRs against Sheila Dixit, Mukesh Ambani and Veerappan Moily. He said that Modi was assuring people of bringing back all the black money

stashed in Switzerland to India but when he wrote a letter to the BJP prime ministerial candidate giving account numbers of Mukesh Ambani and Anil Ambani operating in Swiss banks, he did not reply.

Kejriwal said that he reduced the electricity rates by 50 per cent and allowed 650 litres of free water to people of Delhi during his 48-day Government while UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav was unable to do so even after ruling the state for two year.

Kejriwal said he would visit Gujarat from March 5 to 8 to take stock of the development carried out by the BJP Government. Kejriwal said if he was voted to power, AAP would set up a probe into all the communal riots in the country and send the guilty people to jail.
