They claimed that one Saeed Ahmed aka RsKadda’ had started construction of a house on main road leading to local Muslim graveyard which created obstacle for the members of the community to enter and perform the burial.
They claimed that right from the district magistrate office to district police chief office, they handed a complaint to all in this regard with the request to intervene and stop the illegal work. However, so far either the officials not responded or dumped the issue in the name of first conducting an enquiry. The residents now appealed the DGP office to immediately sent some officer to the spot who would look into the facts, and also cross examine with the tehsil records to confirm the area map, and then take appropriate action against the accused who had created nuisance in the area through illegal construction. Interestingly, the residents also filed an application under Right to Information Act to get copy of map of the area so they could move to court to get relief.
