With a view to assign responsibility for the forthcoming assembly elections, Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda will hold meetings with BJP MPs on July 28 and 29 in New Delhi.
“An important meeting has been called by BJP national president JP Nadda regarding preparations for upcoming assembly elections, party campaign and programmes of the organisation,” a senior leader of the party said here on Tuesday.
He said the meeting of Braj, West and Kanpur regions would be held on July 28 while the next day MPs from Awadh, Kashi and Gorakhpur regions will hold a meeting with the party national president.
BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh, state general secretary (organisation) Sunil Bansal and in-charge Radha Mohan Singh will be present.
The source in the party said that the meeting had been convened to activate the MPs before the 2022 assembly elections and their role in the election campaign would be fixed and responsibility would be assigned to them.
