Unemployment pushed a Basic Training Certificate (BTC) holder in Farrukhabad into depression, forcing her to commit suicide.
She left a suicide note in which she stated that she was ending her life on her own and no one should be held responsible for it.
Reports said that Swati Rajput (27) hailing from Chaini Nagla locality of Kuankhera under Kaimganj police station of Farrukhabad was a BTC holder. She had also completed her post-graduation but her search for a job failed to give any positive result.
The relatives of the deceased said that Swati became depressed after she failed to get a job even after completing the BTC course.
Last Wednesday, she left home for some work but when she did not return till evening, the family members tried to contact her on mobile phone but found it to be switched off. They informed the Kaimganj police about Swati's disappearance and the cops on Thursday morning traced her last location at Ataipur.
As Swati's father, Hetram Rajput, had one more house in Ataipur, the family members rushed there and were shocked to see her body hanging from the ceiling of a room.
The police found a suicide note in which Swati stated that she had hoped that the government would do something for the welfare of the children but now she found that they were going to do nothing. She also mentioned that not getting a job was the reason for her extreme step and the decision to end life was her own and no one should be held responsible for it.
Sub-Inspector Deepak Bhati, who reached the spot, claimed that on the request of the family members, the body was not sent for post-mortem and was handed over to them after panchnama for the last rites.
