The IT city project in the outskirts of the city on lucknow -Varanasi national highway is likely to be completed by October next year. In the first phase of the project 1,000 persons are likely to get the direct employment. HCl, the leading IT Company of the country is implementing the project.
Chairman of the HCl Shiv Nadar met the chief minister Akhilesh Yadav here on Saturday. Akhilesh Yadav said IT city is an important project and the state government desires that it should be completed at the earliest. CM said the project besides creating jobs and imparting job oriented training to the youth would also spur investment as it will create positive environment.
The HCl chairman said as per the wishes of the state government the company has accorded top priority to the project. The company will use the pre FAB technology and the project is likely to be commissioned by October next year. He said in the first phase of the project around 1,000 youth will get direct employment. Shiv Nadar also informed the CM about the development works taken up by the company in some villages of Hardoi district under the corporate social responsibility programme.
