A senior IAS officer Ashok Kumar died of a heart of a heart attack on Tuesdey leaving behind his wife, son and a daughter. The 1982 batch officer was Principal Secretary, in Department of Panchayat and Rural Engineering Services.
The Uttar Pradesh IAS Association held a meeting at Tilak Hall to condol his death. Government B.K. Joshi, Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and many other ministers also offered their condolences.
