The Muslim mascot of Samajwadi Party and party general secretary Mohammad Azam Khan said that he was the most hated person as he had challenged the BJP and the RSS for dividing the country on religious lines for political gains
“I am the most hated person in the country despite running a university and taking up issues of the masses. They want to finish me as I talk about Hindu-Muslim unity,” Khan said while addressing the SP national convention in Agra on Thursday.
Hitting out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that Honeypreet has sent Baba Ram Rahim to jail and ‘moneypreet of PM will sink the country’.
Playing the Muslim card, Khan said that Akhilesh should be concerned about Muslims of the country. “Those afraid of the CBI will not come to help you but Muslims will always stand by you,” he said.
Khan also asked the party to learn from Bihar. “lalu Yadav did not succumb to the threats of the CBI and ED. They can be used against us but the fight must continue,” he said.
Terming Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath as ‘chhote badshah’, Khan said: “There is no governance in UP. People have no love for this government. It has done nothing in six months. Akhilesh should address the people’s issues.”
“Our ideals are Ram and Krishna but Yogiji should tell us whether Prophet Mohammad and Jesus Christ were also his ideals or not,” questioned Khan.
Teh SP leader said that Mahatma Gandhi was their ideal but not Nathuram Ghodse. “Mughals are not our ancestors as claimed by Yogi,” he said and suggested Adityanath to read history.
