In a veiled attack on some leaders, senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh said that it was a bad precedent to write letters and then leak it to the media and said action would be taken such leaders in National Executive meet slated for Wednesday in Delhi. “I feel sorry for the senior leaders who write letters and it gets leaked. All this affects volunteers who work day and night to take party towards new heights goes down the drain,” said Sanjay Singh, while talking to reporters after ‘Swaraj March’ carried out in state capital on Tuesday.

He added that the volunteers in different cities of the nation work hard for the party but at the end these controversies within the party discourage the active members. All these things must come to an end and serious decisions need to be taken over it.

As Delhi Chief Minister and AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal is suffering from high sugar he might skip national executive meet slated for Wednesday. “Arvind Kejriwal’s blood sugar level on fasting has reached 300 and doctors have advised him proper treatment. In such condition, its likely he might skip the meet,” said Singh.  Commenting on statement of Shanti Bhushan regarding Arvind Kejriwal, he said on February 26 in the meeting of National Executive Council, it was asked to hold discussion on Admiral’s letter. All the 60 members attending the meeting supported the proposal that Arvind Kejriwal should retain the post of convener.

“But suddenly on March 1 Shanti Bhushan’s statement was reported from Allahabad that he thinks that Arvind Kejriwal should step down from the post of convener. When all agreed that he could easily work as convener. Action should be taken against such activities,” he added. lambasting Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) on Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohd Saeed’s statement on elections, AAP National Spokesperson Sanjay Singh said in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, J&K CM praised Pakistan and Militants for allegedly helping in conducting free and fair elections. PM should have felt ashamed as the slogan of nationalism he gave during elections was exposed.

Targeting Samajwadi party leadership in the state, he said Samajwadi thinker Dr lohia never made family; he used to say that the party is my family. But in case of Mulayam Singh it’s different as here his family is the party. Close relatives are either MlAs or MPs even his son became Chief Minister.

AAP to strengthen party structure in state: With the slogan ‘Delhi Mein Dikhaya Dum, UP Mein Aagaye Hum’, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Spokesperson Sanjay Singh announced to launch part strengthening activities in the state. Advising party volunteers to abstain from ‘Ahankaar’ and ‘Ghamand’, Sanjay Singh said both these evil qualities were the reasons due to which Congress and BJP doomed during elections. We should not forget that in democracy its public which play the role of kingmaker. “In nine months long government of BJP, none of the promises had been fulfilled. They promised to end corruption and bring black money but nothing happened. We should focus on raising public’s issues and agitate to get them resolved,” he added.

Highlighting state government’s failure on various fronts, he said be it law and order, electricity, education, hospitals, crime against women, etc. the state government has collapsed completely. The volunteers should strengthen party at village, block and ward level to bring change in the traditional politics. We will have to break traditional politics on caste and religion and replace it with issue based politics.

Earlier, Swaraj March was carried out from Charbagh Railway Station under the leadership of Senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh, the march culminated at Party’s state office situated on Sapru marg. On the occasion, State Spokesperson Vaibhav Maheshwari, Convener Avadh Zone Avinash Tripathi.
