Declaring Mahesh Bhatt directed “Hamari Adhoori Kahani” as tax free Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that construction of two film cities in the state was on the anvil that will generate employment as well as promote UP in Bollywood. “New film policy has attracted many Bollywood directors to shoot their films in Uttar Pradesh with the result shooting of at least 30 films is going on at this time. We are getting more proposals to shoot films and UP Government will extend all help to these producers,” Yadav said in a statement issued here on Wednesday.

To give a boost to the film making the UP Government has decided to set up two film cities. One will come up at Agra-lucknow Expressway while the other will be set up at Trans Ganga Hi-tech City of Unnao. “Government has decided to invest over Rs 650 crore in this project which will give employment to over 9,000 people. Besides, these Film Cities will provide modern technology to the film directors,” he said.

Yadav met film director Mahesh Bhatt and actor Imran Hashmi. Bhatta requested Chief Minister to allow his new film “Hamari Adhoori Kahani” as tax free and Yadav accepted the proposal. Bhatt said that he will shoot his next film in Varanasi. He told CM that he had earlier decided to shoot this film in Kolkata but later changed his mind because of facilities made available by UP Government.
