The state Government on Wednesday sanctioned four new police stations for Ghaziabad and Meerut districts.
Briefing mediapersons here on Wednesday, Home Secretary Kamal Saksena said the Government cleared three new police stations for Ghaziabad and one for Meerut district.
According to Saksena, the Ghaziabad district will have loni Border police station, Tronica City police station, and Khoda police station while Meerut will have Rohata police station.
Saksena said the Government also sanctioned the budget to open the new police stations and also additional force for the two districts so that they do not face shortage of man-power for the new police stations.
The Home Secretary said the police stations had been sanctioned for the two districts to further strengthen them on law and order front.
