In its on-going drive to compulsorily retire inefficient or corrupt officers in the surplus of 50 years of age, the state government on Thursday removed three Deputy SPs along with five senior officers of Trade Tax department.
On the recommendations of a screening committee of UP Police led by Principal Secretary (Home) Arvind Kumar and comprising DGP Sulkhan Singh, the state government on Thursday compulsarily retired three Dy SPs - Keshav Karan Singh, Kamal Yadav and Shyoraj Singh.
Similarly, on recommendation of another screening committee of Trade Tax department, the government retired Additional Commissioner Keshav Kumar, Joint Commissioner Anil Kumar Agarwal, Joint Commissioner Hariram Chaurasia, Deputy Commissioner Kaushlesh and Assistant Commissioner Indrajeet Yadav.
