Go on grassroot level talks with people: Yadav

In an apparent snub to the party leadership the Samajwadi party leader shivpal Yadav has asked the patryman to go among the masses and work at the grassroot level instead of relying on Smartphone and social media sites for staying in touch with the people.

Shivpal Yadav, the younger brother of the party chief MUlayam Singh Yadav and PWD minister was in Etawa on Wednesday to lead the Cycle Yatra programme launched by the party. The 10 day programme will last till May 10.    Shivpal Yadav cycled over 13 KMs in his constituency Jaswantnagar in Etawah.

"Stop relying on modern gadgets like smart phone and social media sites for serving the people.  Social media sites and modern gadgets do have relevance in present day but they can never substitute the traditional methods of politics and serving the people.  Instead of   wasting all your time on Twitter and Face book  you better go among the people and  redress their grievances then only the message of the party will reach among the masses and also serve the interest of the party’’, said Shivpal Yadav addressing a meeting after the cycle Yatra.

"I can see a big gap in communication of the party cadres with the masses.  The party leaders and cadres more active on then social media sites should reconsider their style of working. If they move among  the common people then they will be able to have not only better communication but also  apprise and convince then about the long list of achievements of the state government’’, argued Shivpal Yadav.

During the 13 km long cycle Yatra Shivpal yadav addressed several whistle stop meetings and apprised the people about the achievements of the Akhilesh yadav government. The PWD minister also inspected the police station and Tehsil office and expressed his displeasure over the pending work and directed the officials to dispose the complaints of the people at the earliest.

He said during the last four years of the Akhilesh Yadav regime, the state government has laid a vast network of roads in the state  and many schemes like free irrigation water were initiated for  the benefit of the farmers. He said the SP government without any discrimination on the lines of caste, creed and religion has worked for the welfare of all sections of the society.

Targeting the prime minister narendra Modi, he said the BJP government at the Centre has singularly failed to deliver on all fronts. `` Narendra Modi had promised to provide employment for the jobless youth and Rs 15 lakh for every individual out of the black money to be recovered within the country and stashed abroad.
