Reports said that Yogendra Kumar, a real estate businessman hailing from Kailash Vatika in Rajpura area of Gangnagar in Meerut, was living with his mother Saroj, sister, Parul, and younger brother, Asheesh (25).
On Monday, Yogendra had gone to New Delhi in connection with some work and other family members were at home. As per the information given by the police, Asheesh, who is a pet lover and is also engaged in selling dogs, had a tiff with his sister, Parul, over preparing chapatis to feed the dogs on Sunday evening.
Parul, however, prepared the food for dogs but the situation took an ugly turn on Monday evening when claiming that she was not well, Parul went to bed, refusing to prepare chapatis for the pets.
Asheesh, who later killed her, claimed that he asked his sister to prepare food but as she refused to do so, he lost his temper and shot
her with a country-made.
Hearing the gunshot, the family members came and found Parul lying in a pool of blood.
On finding her dead, Asheesh left the house and called his relative and elder brother Yogendra and informed them about the incident.
