Four persons killed their rival on an old enmity in Karari police station area of Kaushmbi district on Saturday night.
As per reports, the victim Rajesh (26) of Bhaela village was sleeping outside his house when miscreants attacked him with sharp edged weapons around 12.30 am. The miscreants fled the scene after attack. His family members woke up hearing him crying and on finding him lying in pool of blood they rushed him to hospital. He, however, died on the way to hospital. Police had registered a case against Sharda and three his aides at the complaint of the victim’s family. The police said Sharda was loggerhead with victim’s family and threatened the victim of dire consequences. Police added that the victim suffered multiple injuries at his head, throat and other parts of the body. Efforts to nab the miscreants are on.
Meanwhile, an unidentified miscreant killed a man and injured his son in Katra police station area of Gonda district on Sunday. The victims identified as Khuti Singh (70) and his son Vijay Bhan Singh (35) were attacked when both were sleeping outside their house in Bhoolbhuliya Teri village around 2.30 am. Khuti was critically injured in the attack and died when he was being taken to a hospital in the locality. Vijay Bhan is admitted to a hospital and his condition is critical also. Police registered a case in this connection and efforts are on to identify the miscreant and nab him.
