Former stamp and registration minister Manoj Paras who fell from grace and was unceremoniously sacked from the Akhilesh Yadav Government came out with his clarification almost after a week saying that he was a dedicated soldier of the party and would abide by the orders of party president Mulayam Singh Yadav.
"I have no grudges against the party leadership. Whatever decision party leadership has taken against me I accept it with grace. I was with SP and will always remain with Samajwadi Party come what may," Paras told reporters here on Thursday.
Manoj Paras along with former agriculture minister Anand Singh were sacked from the Akhilesh government without citing any reasons. Singh’s son Kirtivardhan Singh had joined BJP and his sacking was understandable while Paras was facing rape charges. It was also believed that Mulayam Singh was angry with Paras for his alleged support of BSP candidate in Bijnore.
"Someone has misled Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav and Neta ji about me. None of my relatives are contesting from Bijnore from any other party including BSP and I have never canvassed in favour of anyone other than our candidate Amir Alam," he said.
Paras, who is legislator from Nagina in Bijnore, said that he was a loyal soldier of the party would always work for the welfare of Samajwadi Party. "My actions will strengthen party not weaken it. The party that supported me at the time of distress how can I work against it," he said.
