Muzaffarnagar's Senior Superintendent of Police KB Singh said that the policemen deployed for the security of Vicky Tyagi were suspended for their laxity during duty.
He said the case was being investigated.Vicky Tyagi was murdered in the courtroom when he was standing in the witness box on February 16.The main accused, Sagar Malik, who sprayed Vicky Tyagi with bullets, surrendered before the police and was arrested from the spot.An FIR was registered against 11 persons, including three policemen, on the complaint of Vicky Tyagi's mother Sushma Tyagi.
The daring murder had exposed the police carelessness in dealing with such cases. Meanwhile, four eunuchs were booked in connection with a murder that took place under the Nanauta police station in Saharanpur district on Sunday.Police said eunuchs Babita, Chandani, Reshma and Irfan were arrested on Sunday on the complaint of Israr, whose brother was strangulated to death on Saturday night in the Sekhjatganj area.
Police sent the eunuchs to jail and are carrying on investigation.Describing the motive behind the murder, the police said the victim had a brawl with the miscreants on some issue.
