Election Commission on Friday ordered the removal of 10 IPS officers and 5 IAS officers. The IPS officers include two zonal Inspector general of police, two deputy inspectors general of police and superintendent of police of six districts. EC also ordered the transfer of district magistrates of four districts and Excise commissioner. The EC ordered the removal of Bhavnath Singh from the post of excise commissioner and posted Mritunjay Kumar Singh in his place.
The zonal IGs transferred are Vijay Singh Meena, IG Bareilly zone and he has been replaced by Vijay Prakash. IG Varanasi zone Surendra Kumar Bhagat has been replaced by Aseem Kumar Arun.
The two DIGs shifted are DIG Gorakhpur range Shiv Sagar Singh has been replaced by Nilabja Choudhary. DIG Azamgarh range Dharmvir has been replaced Uday Shankar Jaisawal.
The district magistrates shifted included DM Bahriach Abhay has been replaced by Ajay Deep Singh. DM Kannauj Ashok Chandra has been replaced Jai Prakash Sagar. DM Deoria Anita Srivastava has been replaced by Abrar Ahmed. DM Sonbhadra Chandra Bhushan Singh has been replaced by Pramod Kumar Upadhaya.
SPs of six districts were also shifted on Friday. SP Hardoi Rajeev Malhotra has been replaced by Chandra Prakash. SP Ghazipur Arvind Sen has been replaced by Subash Chandra Dube. SP Fatehpur Balikaran Singh Yadav will be replaced by Umesh Kumar Singh. SP Jalaun Dr Rakesh Singh to be replaced by Swapnil Mamgen. SP Pilibhit Sabha Raj will be replaced by Devranjan Verma and SP Bahriach Saligram Verma will be replaced by Dr Manoj Kumar.
