Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on Monday, called on the voters to make those who made people struggle for a drop of water, struggle for votes.
“The parties which believe in dynastic politics created obstacles in the way of development as they have nothing to do with development. They looted funds meant for the welfare schemes for the poor. On the other hand, the double-engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party is solving the drinking water problem once and for all,” Chief Minister Yogi said.
Addressing a public meeting in Mirzapur to seek support for Bharatiya Janata Party candidates in urban local bodies elections, Chief Minister Yogi said that the construction of a grand corridor was going on in the abode of Maa Vindhyavasini. He added that this Dham was connected with a waterway and the construction of a jetty had already been completed. Yogi said that the waterway would enhance the income of farmers as their produce would reach both domestic and international markets easily.
Chief Minister Yogi said that the facility of a medical college was also being provided. He said the youth would not have to go outside for higher education as Vindhyavasini University was under construction in Mirzapur.
“Today India is being recognised as a global leader. Whenever there is a global crisis, the world looks towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a solution,” he said.
Emphasising that the double-engine government of the BJP was providing benefits of welfare schemes to all without any discrimination, the chief minister said that the government was now going to give free cooking gas cylinders to the needy also on the occasion of Holi and Diwali.
