Principal Secretary, Horticulture Department Sudhir Garg, has directed all the district magistrates to ensure supply of quality saplings, grown at government production units of Horticulture and Food Processing Department, under various government schemes and tree plantation programmes.
He said that saplings would be arranged by any other means only if departments issues a certificate saying unavailability of desired sapling.
Principal Secretary said that tree plantation would be undertaken on private land of farmers to ensure successful implementation of CM Community Forestry Scheme, CM Orchard Scheme and CM Krishak Vriksh Dhan Yojna under the MNREGA Scheme.
