Prime Minister Narendra Modi came, sat, and listened to the deliberations at the 56th All India DGPs’ Conference. He jotted down some points and left the seminar hall in the evening, leaving everyone curious. The PM and Union Home Minister Amit Shah remained in the Signature Building and attended all the sessions. They also watched all the presentations given by different states and Central agencies.
Though a senior police officer did not reveal what exactly transpired on the second day of the conference, he said all eyes were on the prime minister, who, like a student, was jotting down points in a slip-book.
The PM arrived at the Signature Building around 9:30 am. Shah and NSA chief Ajit Doval received the PM. Modi and Shah also witnessed all the presentations given by different states and Central agencies. The PM will address the conference before returning to Delhi on Sunday.
The three-day conference was inaugurated by Shah on Friday. This is the first time when the DG of state police and DGs of Central Armed Police Forces are attending this meeting. Besides, over 350 other officers are attending the conference virtually.
