Development work is visible only on hoarding under Akhilesh govt : Maurya

BJP state president Keshav Prasad Maurya said that development work under Akhilesh Yadav Government is visible only on hording as government has failed to provide relief to the people when half of the state is reeling under flood.

“What could be more disgusting for the government is that first family of UP is embroiled in family feud and Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav is not concerned about flood ravaged people,” Maurya said in Deoria on Monday.

He said situation in Bahiarch, Ghazipur, Mirzapur  and Allahabad is very bad where over 400 villages are badly affected. Over 20,000 people have been rendered homeless. They do not have shelter over their head. Children are starving but this government has failed to extend relief to the people.

Targeting Samajwadi Party Maurya said no such thing like government exists in Uttar Pradesh. Mafias and criminals are calling the shot. They feel safe here as they know that they are protected by SP, he said.

Addressing a rally in Kushinagar, where he led Tiranga Yatra, Maurya said that BJP will form next government with clear majority. “BSP has lost its sheen as Dalits know that Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati is selling their votes. “Only Modi government is working for welfare of Dalits” he added.

About new leaders joining BJP Maurya said BJP has taken some politicians from other parties because they know that BJP has emerged as the first choice of the people. “Many legislators and senior leaders of other parties are in touch with me. If they all join BJP then SP and BSP will be left only with few faces,” he said.
