With entire Aam Adami Party (AAP) including Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal, stand like a rock behind former Delhi law Minister Jitender Singh Tomar, over fake educational certificates issue, Delhi police further tightened its grip on the AAP leader, by bringing him in Faizabad to re-confirm that the degrees were fake. Interestingly, Tomar, still maintained that he was a post-graduate in law and accused Narendra Modi for conspiring to defame him.

Sources said that right in presence of the former law minister, the officials at Dr Ram Manohar lohia Awadh University, from where he claimed to have graduated in Science in 1988 (Bachelor of Science), confirmed that the certificate produce by Tomar were fake. Public Relation Officer of the Saket University, SN Shukla confirmed that the roll number 31331, was not of Jitendra Singh Tomar but it was of another student and that the degree was also forged and even the signatures of vice-chancellor has been forged. Shukla also informed that earlier also, in a reply to RTI query sought in January last, they informed that the degree of BSs was fake.

Sources also said that Jitendra Singh Tomar, also showed a fake migration certificate procured from Bundelkhand University in Jhansi. The Migration Certificate is necessary to take admission in Post-graduate court of University in another state and Tomar claimed to have done law PG from Bhagalpur University in Munger, Bihar. It may be mentioned here that Migration Certificate should be of Saket University as Tomar shown to have graduated from there but in a strange move, he shown it issued from Bundelkhand university.

Sources also said that the law PG Degree was also fake but still the Delhi police would take Tomar to Bihar to get the allegations cross-checked that too in presence of Tomar himself. Tomar is presently on four days police custody remand of New Delhi police who had brought him to Faizabad on Wednesday morning. Tomar had claimed to have completed his llB degree from VNSl Studies, a law college affiliated to Tilak Manjhi Bhagalpur University of Bihar.
