After Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ordered probe in river front project and withdrawal of Ration Cards with pictures of Former CM Akhilesh Yadav, the next action is likely on the Cycle tracks constructed in big cities of the state.
Since the formation of new government in the state, Akhilesh Yadav’s ambitious cycle track project could face the ire. It is believed that to widen the roads for improving traffic scenario, the cycle tracks will be removed, as of now construction of new tracks have been stopped.
The cycle tracks have become obstruction in the traffic movement as those were constructed on roadside. The roads were already narrow and over it these tracks were constructed giving tough time to the commuters daily.
Interestingly, those are rarely used by the cyclists instead it has become hotspot for the street vendors for operating their business. Not only this, even the localities are using it for parking their vehicles too. The officials are collecting the reports regarding it which would be sent to the chief minister.
These cycle tracks were constructed on both sides of the road and Former CM Akhilesh Yadav took special interest in construction of it. These were constructed at lucknow, Kanpur, Allahabad, Ghaziabad, Agra, Aligarh, etc, by spending crores of from establishment fund and government’s treasury.
