Akhil Bhartiya Kisan Mahasabha and CPI(Ml) had condemned the statement made by Principal Secretary Home Anand Kumar Gupta on Muzzafarnagar riots and demanded that he must be removed from his post on Saturday.
Stating that Samajwadi party will repay for its insensitivity in the upcoming election, Spokesperson of Kisan Mahasabh, Ishwari Prasad Kushwaha alleged Mulayam Singh Yadav and the state bureaucracy for favouring the communal forces in the state.
Farmer leaders said that Kisan Mahasabha will run a nationwide campaign with other farmers outfits in the state in Fenuraray and agitate against the land acquisitions and other issues relate to the farmers.
State head of Kisan Mahasabha JP Narayan said that the state government had already failed to start paddy distribution centres, which are running only on papers due to which farmers are forced to sell paddy at cheaper rates to the brokers. He also said that state government also failed to get sugacane crushing process on time, due to which sawing of wheat and other Rabi crops was not ensured on time
Kisan Sabha and CPI(Ml) had also stated Congress lead UPA government as equally responsible for the issues of Farmes. They ae also running a campaign to collect the relief material to send to the relief camps.
