Congress leaders gear up for Janakrosh rally in Delhi

Congress leaders were gearing up to ensure maximum turnout in `Janakrosh’ Rally at Ram leela ground in New Delhi on coming Sunday. The efforts were made to counter the Narendra Modi government on it’s failure to implement any of the poll promises leading to public outcry and to ensure his ouster in the 2019 Parliament elections.

``The youths were agitated as they had no jobs in hands, the farmers community is committing suicide as they were getting nothing for their produce,  the traders had lost their business after implementation of Goods and Services  Tax (GST) and demonetisation etc”, pointed Congress state general secretary, Vinod Mishra while claiming that the public is agitated with growing caste and communal conflict in the country along with rising prices.

Targetting the Central Government, Mishra, who is also incharge of the District Congress Committee, said that the Narendra Modi led government had tried to derail the voice of the Opposition Parties against his misdoings and even not allowed the Parliament to run smoothly, and also passed on the blame for it on the Opposition. He said that left with no other option, Congress had decided to raise the people’s voice through a massive `Janakrosh’ rally in the Ramleela Ground in New Delhi on coming Sunday.

He said that they were booking coaches on all important trains from East and Central Uttar Pradesh to reach to New Delhi while the workers and leaders from Western UP and the NCR will reach national capital by road to make the rally a grand success and launch campaign to dislodge Modi’s government in 2019. He claimed that over 10 lakh Party workers and leaders from neighbouring state and other parts of the country will reach New Delhi to join Party president’s campaign to expose the anti-people policy of Narendra Modi and Central government.
