Congress leaders come together for MlA Hasan Ahmad

To condemn the assault on Congress MlA Hasan Ahmad, Congress leaders gathered at Imambara Shahnajaf on Saturday. 

"We all have gathered here to pray for Maulana Kalbe Jawwad should get better sense. This balck rinnon which we have tied on arms is not to protest but for peace," said Hasan while talking to the pressmen.  

Congress leader, Rita Joshi demanded that the state government should swing into action as beating any person is against Democracy. The police should arrest those behind the attack immediately. At around 4 pm Congress MlA of Mustafabad seat (Delhi), Hasan Ahmad reached Imambara Shahnajaf along with Congress candidate Rita Bahuguna Joshi to pray and register protest against the attack. 

On the occasion, several other Congress leaders and Clerics were present including Siraj Mehndi, Arshi Raza, Maulana Saim Mehdi and Maulana Zahid Mehdi. Notably, On Friday MlA Hasan Ahmad was allegedly beaten in a hotel situated in Qaiserbagh area while he was going to address a press conference. MlA said the miscreants thrashed me and said if I will speak against Maulana Kalbe Jawwad in future they will do it again. later FIR was lodged President Husaini Tigers and a close relative of Maulana Kalbe Jawwad,Shamil Shamsi said Congress leaders are using our religious premises for their political gains which will not be tolerated at all. 

"We have made complaints to District Magistrate Raj Shekhar and UP Chief Election Officer, Umesh Sinha for using the religious premises for political purposes especially against Rita Joshi," he said.
