Congress attacks new govt on cow slaughter and loan waiver

Congress took the opportunity to attack the new Bharatiya Janta Party government for its failure to ban cow slaughtering and waive off loans of farmers.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah in all their poll rallies made tall claims of banning slaughter houses and waiving off farmers’ loan, the same day after forming a government in UP. Why is Chief Minister Adityanath Yogi silent now,” questioned Congress MlC Deepak Singh. ``More than 48-hours have passed since Yogi took charge of the new government. But he has not made a single announcement about the promises his party leaders made during campaign to misguide voters,” said he.

“People have seen how Modi and Shah have cheated the voters during campaign in the 2014 Parliamentary poll when they not only promised ‘achche din’ but also to bring back black money kept overseas and credit every one’s accounts with Rs 15 lakh,” Singh said.

The Congress MlA claimed that now it appeared that Adityanath Yogi is set to follow the footstep of Modi and Shah and run a government of ‘loudmoths’.
