The President of Bhartiya Janata Party Rajnath Singh has on Saturday said that the Congress and other parties are in depression with the trust shown by people of country in the election held so far and thus, they are now playing communal card in last phase of election to divert the attention of man issues such as development and good governance.
The BJP Chief appealed the voters to give mandate for strong government so as the nation could be served without being dependent on any party. He gave enough indication that Modi will not leave Varanasi after winning election by saying that the representative of Varanasi in parliament will lead the nation.Talking to newsmen at a hotel here the BJP chief said that during election he visited entire country and felt that bad governance, illiteracy and unemployment were main challenges before the nation but the Congress-led UPA Government failed in meeting them.
The people are annoyed with the UPA and want freedom from it he said and added that the people showed trust on Narendra Modi.
Congress and other parties are in depression with the election held so far and now they are playing communal card to divert attention of people from the main issues such as development and good governance he blamed and said that the opposition blamed the BJP for playing communal policy but we do not believe in because we do not need of them as we performed excellent in assembly elections held in 2013. The UPA government has nothing to tell about its achievements he said.
The BJP leader made an appeal to the electorates to vote for strong government so as it could serve the nation without being dependent on any party. As per party’s assessment and report of independent agencies the BJP-led NDA would get over 300 seats and the possibility could also not be denied that the BJP could alone cross the magic figure of 272 seats. Probably it s for the first time that the people have given their mandate even before the counting he said.
There is need to make India as spiritual super power to make country as Guru of world and thus there is no possibility of discrimination in the country he said and claimed that the nation has elected its PM even before the final voting. This is for the first time the election was fought on the issues of development and good governance and not on sympathy he said adding that the representative of Varaansi in parliament would lead the nation and it was enough indication that Modi would retain Varanasi seat after winning election.
The BJP Chief expected that the election commission would hold free and fair election to be conducted n last phase.
