Congress president Nirmal Khatri supported the demand of striking state employees and alleged that the situation which is already in bad shape due the deteriorating law and order situation and `Jungle Raj’ has been further paralysed by on-going stir.
``The apathetical and step-motherly treatment made towards some genuine demands of the state employees had forced them to go on strike", claimed Nirmal Khatri while forwarding his full support to the on-going stir. ``State government should now immediately called the leaders of striking employees and accept their demands which have been now pending for a long time", Congress state president said adding that public services had already starting affected hence the government must show their immediate concern to avert any trouble to common man.
Further hitting at Samajwadi Party government, Nirmal Khatri said that not just the state employees but everyone has been hit by wrong policies and `gonda raj’ of Akhilesh’s regime. ``News papers and electronic media head lines were regularly highlighting that how criminals hailing from Samajwadi Party and some of whom also turned members of Parliaments or entered state employees or those whom Akhilesh forwarded minister status by appointing them chairman of corporations etc were using their muscle power to terrorise common man to fulfill their unwanted desires", claimed Congress state president adding that the public is the ultimate sufferers of SP leaders excesses. Khatri is camping here in lucknow to make preparation for Party’s ghearo of chief minister Akhilesh Yadav for not implementing Food Security Act, Nirmal Khatri claimed that it was not only common man but many bureaucrats and IPS officers were also feeling suffocated hence they wanted to go to Centre on deputation. He claimed that it is also interesting that SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav realised these facts but failed to do any thing. ``Mulayam Singh Yadav himself confessed that SP leaders were indulged in unlawful activities and had warned them through Party platform and even in public functions from time to time but no action showed that SP supremo is hapless", pointed Khatri.
He said that not only this, even bureaucrats came in for sharp criticism by chief minister. ``On several occasions, Akhilesh Yadav criticised bureaucrats for not co-operating in implementing government policies and even went on to accuse them of doing so as they were close to his arch rival Bahujan Samaj Party group", cited Khatri while questioning that Akhilesh should tell the public that who had stopped him from removing such elements and replaced them with others so at least the public could get some relief. ``It was failure of Samajwadi Party government on all fronts which forced both Mulayam and Akhilesh to accuse others in order to pass on the responsibility for failure on their shoulders", Khatri said adding that the public will give a befitting reply to SP in the coming Parliament elections.
