Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that his government was contemplating to include regional languages in the school curriculum and said that his government was committed to improve education standard of the state. “When you look around you see there is emphasis on learning foreign languages like German, French and Japanese. I want to go a step further and ask why cannot we include regional languages like Bhojpuri, Awadhi and Bundelkhandi in the school curriculum. We are working in this direction so that we can expose our students to this new world,” Yogi said in a function held here on Tuesday.
He said that his government was committed to improve education standard. The last 15 years have spoiled the education, health and power sectors. We have a challenge before us and we have accepted that challenge. You will see difference in 100 days,” he said.
He was vocal of Government’s commitment in improving law and order in the state. Committing crime is a mentality. I have been asking criminals to mend their ways. They have two options before them – either join the mainstream of development or leave Uttar Pradesh. Over 22 crore people have reposed faith on us. They believe that only BJP can improve law and order and we will ensure that this government fulfills that promise, Yogi said. “The party leadership has given us a gigantic task and we will complete that task. The beginning has been made as the state government has initiated process to implement the schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Once we have done this, we have won half of our battle,” Yogi said. In that conclave former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav also expressed his views and said that BJP leaders sell dreams. He blamed false promises for Samajwadi Party’s defeat in the recent elections. Yogi countered him by saying that one who has the vision to dream has the potential to excel. We have promised people in the election to give clean administration and we will fulfill that promise. Both the Deputy Chief Ministers Dr Dinesh Sharma and Keshav Prasad Maurya and Power minister Srikant Sharma also spoke on this occasion.
