The state-owned Chopper carrying Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath made an unplanned landing in Faizabad when he was on his way to Kapilvastu in Sidharthnagar district to attend a function, government official said.
CM’s chopper was forced to land in Faizabad as it was not able to go further because of the inclement weather, Government spokesman said. “CM proceeded to Kapilvastu by road,” he informed.
Source said that even the District Administration of Faizabad did not know about CM’s chopper making an emergency landing. As District Magistrate was out of city SSP took control and arranged for the vehicles that took him to Kapilvastu.
