Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has asked doctors and researchers to prepare case histories of critical COVID-19 patients who have survived and do research so that other institutes could follow the same line of treatment to save lives.
“This is a good news that coronavirus infected people, from children to elders, have been successfully treated. The treatment of critical patients has also been done successfully. The medical fraternity should study the case histories and line of treatment of the cured patients. They should do research as much as possible. It will help in evolving an effective line of treatment of COVID-19,” the chief minister said while presiding over the Unlock review meeting at his official residence here on Saturday.
Yogi asked the officials to ramp up rapid antigen COVID-19 testing. He said people suspected to be infected during door-to-door medical survey should be tested by rapid antigen method and those found positive should be sent to Covid hospitals immediately.
