Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has received yet another life threat.
He has been threatened with death by beheading him and a bounty of Rs 2 crore has also been announced.
The flag of Pakistan has been also planted on Facebook by creating a fake page of Moradabad police through which the threat has been made with an account named Atma Prakash Pandit.
This post was put from a fake page of Moradabad police, whose Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh-affiliated woman activist named Ayushi Maheshwari tagged Moradabad police on Twitter and demanded action after taking cognisance of it.
Moradabad’s Superintendent of Police Akhilesh Bhaduria said that after the investigation by the cyber cell, a person named Atma Prakash revealed that he had created a Facebook account which was being misused for posting anti-social content. The district police chief said that his claim was being probed.
According to information, a page was created on Facebook in the name of Moradabad police, through which such posts have been made. The police said that the post had been made from an account named Atma Prakash Pandit.
Sources said that the photo of Moradabad District Magistrate Shailendra Kumar Singh has been also put in the cover photo on this Facebook ID named Atma Prakash Pandit. At the same time, the flag of Pakistan has also been planted in another post.
Along with the photo of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, a photo of former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was also put in the post and a reward of Rs 2 crore was announced in the post for beheading Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. It has been written in the post that a cash reward of Rs 2 crore will be given to the person who cuts his head.
Sources said that Atma Prakash Pandit, the youth who created the Facebook account, reached the police and claimed that his ID was hacked to post objectionable messages.
Local police claimed to be probing the claims of Atma Prakash Pandit and said that stern action would be taken against the person found involved in giving threat to the life of the chief minister.
